Party Recipe: Adopt Me
Last night’s Ladies Activity Club party was so fun! This was our first attempt at a charitable activity: we made “Adopt Me” vests for the orphaned dogs at Pets Unlimited. The party was hosted at Marielle’s cozy flat on Eureka and 20th. She’s decorated the whole place with a really innovative mix of antiques. Instead of a mirror on the mantelpiece, she had a huge polished silver tray. And she had an antique wood bed frame decked out with embroidered linens. Lovely!
Anyway, here are a few photos of the party. We used iron-on letters on canvas for the patches. Amazingly, it took us about a half hour to figure out that the letters need to have a paper backing peeled off before you start ironing!

What a great idea for an activity!
