Wedding Wednesday: The Dress(es)
I had my fitting with the vintage lace on the new silk sheath last night. This is the first time I’ve seen the silk and the lace combined and it is so lovely. The lace really comes alive now that is has been cleaned and pressed. I’m so lucky to get to wear my great grandmother’s dress!
The new gold shoes that I already purchased worked just fine with the dress. I bought a couple shoe clip options (including these vintage bows) online to add some flair, but I probably won’t need them.
And in second dress news, this came from Saks in the mail and looks pretty cute in person. It is still a little shinier than I’d like, but it is actually quite flattering and a great back-up option. I have a couple weeks to mull it over.

I like this latest dress! You probably already know (or have checked there already) but Neiman Marcus is having an end of season sale with some great deals on dresses.
i like the front of the dress, but the back seems a bit bare/plain to me. nice option, though!
That dress is so simple and elegant! Either way, you will make the right choice, I’m sure.
As for songs, what about something classic like “Let’s do it, let’s fall in love” or a little Ella with “At Last”?
Emily, what about going vintage on your second dress? http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=12594230
