Obsession: DVF houndstooth coat

Just looking at this coat from Diane Von Furstenburg makes me want to throw a big toddler-style tantrum right here at my computer. Pleeeeeeeaaaase?! It’s only going to cost half a month’s rent?! I’m officially holding my breath until it goes up for sale.

Can’t you just picture it with a few yellow accessories thrown in the mix?! No other houndstooth coat available is even half as lovely. I had a feeling that “breaking the seal” with the DVF cocktail dress would lead to trouble!
