Calie tagged me a while back to come up with…
Party Planning: LAC turns 1!
The Ladies Activity Club will celebrate it’s first anniversary in September. I can’t believe that the club has grown to 26 members over the last year! We’ve had some great parties including pumpkin carving, gingerbread house making, wine tasting, Easter decorating, board games, bowling and museums. So how should we celebrate the anniversary?
Here are some of my ideas for the party…I’m open to suggestions!
- Champagne, of course!
- “Lady food” like finger sandwiches and petite fours.
- Decorating picture frames as the “activity.” I’ll print out a bunch of party photos to put in them?
- Party clothes. A lot of people come straight from work though?
- Member awards
Hmm, I better get started on this pretty soon!

Count me in!!! I want to come for the party…just make it as late as possible…could it be on a Thursday night possibly?
Nicole 🙂
You can come if you promise that you’ll try to make it to some of the LAC parties in the future!
Okay…as long as we can have some “off-site” LAC parties…Marin/Berkeley…
Ummmm…no 🙂 You should start your own LAC club in Napa. I am trying to get Jean to start one in NC and Nicole in Utah. It’s really better as a local thing on a weeknight.
so how does this LAC thing work? Could I be the charter memeber for the France/Switzerland chapter?
I would love for you to open up our first international branch!
The LAC is a club I started here in the city as a way to meet new friends. It started with about five girls I knew and grew each month from there. We meet on a Tuesday night once a month for an activity hosted by one of the members.
