Last Sunday's Tour de France party was a big success,…
To Do: Vote!
It is currently a rainy, horrible day; sprinkled with bad news and melancholy. But it can’t stop me from being positively giddy (and crazy nervous – this cheesy video and this awesomeness are helping) about tomorrow’s election. As Obama said at a rainy event yesterday, “We’ve been through an eight-year storm. But a new day is dawning. Sunshine is on the way.”
I’m going to dress up tomorrow in my best tweed suit, vote first thing in the morning at the fire station, wear my “I voted” sticker proudly all day, and have a big party with friends to watch the results come in that evening. We even have a magnum of champagne leftover from the wedding chilling in the fridge.
No matter who or what you’re voting for: get out there tomorrow! Here’s a link to look up your polling place.

Oh gosh, I’m so nervous as well. I can’t stand it.
I can’t even bring myself to think about what will happen if Obama doesn’t win.
Fingers and toes crossed.
OMG I’m so nervous and excited as well! I feel like it’s the day before graduation or a big trip or something. I’m going to get up early, put on my blue j.crew cardigan, stand in line as long as it takes and wear my “I Voted” sticker next to my Obama button all day long.
I won’t have champagne or a party because I’m too much of a basket case, but I’m sure some tears will be shed – hopefully of joy.
GOTV EVERYONE!
“force the spring…”
I’m going to be bouncing around all day, because I’m nervous and I voted early, so I don’t even need to go to the polls!
I love the idea of getting dressed up to go vote – so classy.
